Why I am running for the San Jose Unified School Board?

I bring the perspective of a classroom teacher, the voice of an advocate, and the determination to fight for schools that prepare all students for lifelong success. 

I believe public education should open doors for every child. I am running because students and families deserve leadership that listens, values educators, and works every day to create safe, inclusive, and high quality schools.

I am running to put students first, strengthen trust with families, and make sure our public schools are equipped to serve the needs of every community.
